welcome to the manifestation of my boredom. i'm not done with any of the major sections of this site, but it feels totally dead right now, so fuck everything, guess i'm gonna make this. really quick thanks to byteywolf @ byteywolf.com for the idea, though.
computers
my computers. titles don't get much more straightforward than this, do they?
hp elitedesk 800 g2 sff
- cpu: intel core i7-6700
- ram: 32gb ddr4
- gpu: intel hd graphics 530
- storage: 1tb samsung sata ssd
- notes: all around good, excels with most tasks, just need to upgrade gpu
(this is just a stock image of one because i'm too lazy to pull mine out of my closet but imagine it running windows 7)
hp 15-ac121dx
- cpu: intel core i3-5010u
- ram: 16gb ddr3l
- gpu: intel hd graphics 5500
- storage: 1tb sata hdd
- notes: good-ish for what i expect it to do, and portable (what else do you expect from a laptop?). need to replace battery, though. and also i have 2 for some reason?? only use 1, other is a server.
phones
samsung galaxy s25+ (sm-s936u)
- cpu: qualcomm snapdragon 8 elite for galaxy
- ram: 12gb lpddr5x
- gpu: adreno 830
- storage: 256gb emmc (i think)
- notes: pretty decent, don't use it that much for personal stuff. excellent reticulum node, though!
(how the hell do you expect me to take a picture of the phone i'm using with the same phone)
samsung galaxy s4 (sgh-i337)
- cpu: qualcomm snapdragon 600
- ram: 2gb
- gpu: adreno 320
- storage: 16gb emmc (i think)
- notes: really a good phone, runs well and does a lot despite its age. its my main phone, and i plan for it to be until it breaks. running baseband i337ucufnb1 (android 4.4.2), touchwiz 2.5.
(couldn't find it)
at&t alcatel 871a
- cpu: a4-6210
- ram: no idea, can't find, maybe 50mb?
- gpu: not sure
- storage: 8gb emmc (i think)
- notes: don't know much about this phone since the version i have is totally borked, for some reason, and link rot killed any detailed, reliable sources. seems like an okay phone from what i can see, i guess.
(isn't charged)
galaxy player 5.0
- cpu: samsung hummingbird
- ram: 512mb
- gpu: not sure
- storage: 8gb emmc
- notes: pretty good mp3 player, and has a really long battery life. obsolete in comparison to the galaxy s4, though. also android 2.3.5 is really limited compared to 4.4.2 so not even much to sideload.
tablets
gee, sure is getting repetitive.
(isn't charged)
galaxy tab3 7.0 (sprint edition)
- cpu: qualcomm snapdragon 400
- ram: 1.5gb
- gpu: adreno 305
- storage: 16gb emmc
- notes: really is good. excellent as a desk clock, youtube player, and email checker, and looks really cool while doing it.
(dead)
galaxy tab s6 lite
- cpu: exynos 1280
- ram: 4gb
- gpu: mali-g68
- storage: 64gb emmc
- notes: total ass. not sure what i expected from it with it being an older lite model but practically everything is laggy, really only use it as a drawing tablet now, which is practically the only usable part now.
