recipe: brownies

ingredients

• 4 tablespoons cocoa
• 2/3 cups shortening
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups flour

instructions

1. beat together the cocoa, shortening, sugar, eggs, baking powder, and salt. add flour slowly.
2. spread on a greased cookie pan (with sides).
3. at 350 fahrenheit, bake for 20 minutes or less, until the top has a dull crust and a slight finger imprint remains.
4. put on frosting while brownies are hot.

extra stuff (frosting ingredients + instructions)

• 2 tablespoons cocoa
• 1/3 cup margarine
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• some salt i guess
• enough milk for a spreading consistency


• instructions: beat and spread on brownies
